Ahmet is a PhD candidate at the Max Planck School of Cognition. He studies why the human mind is so limited in its ability to perform multiple tasks at once, using computational modeling, behavioral experiments, and neural data to understand how these constraints arise from the structure of neural representations. His current work combines neural network models with systematic evaluations of classical dual-task paradigms to challenge long-standing assumptions about the nature of cognitive bottlenecks.
