ONGOING RESEARCH STUDIES
There’s no better way to experience our science than to take part in it.
Our studies explore how perception, prediction, and memory unfold in everyday life, from recognizing a sound before it happens to recalling moments that matter. You might navigate virtual worlds, explore museum spaces, or play simple computer games while we record brain and body activity. Participation is safe, well compensated, and always meaningful.
Brain
Imaging
18-40 years old
How does your brain anticipate what comes next?
How do memories and expectations shape what you consciously see and hear?
We use non-invasive brain imaging (fMRI and MEG) to trace predictive signals across cortical layers and to understand how perception and memory interact in real time.
MOBILE &
VIRtuAL REALITY
18-50 years old
What happens in your brain when you explore the world?
How do context, movement, and emotion shape your experience?
Using mobile EEG and wearable sensors, we record neural and physiological activity as participants navigate immersive or real environments such as museums and cityscapes.
BEHAVIOURAL & EYE TRACKING
18-60 years old
When do you notice something new - and when do you miss it?
How do attention and memory work together to guide your actions?
In these studies, you’ll complete short, engaging computer or tablet tasks while we non-invasively measure your eye movements and reaction times.
