PHD STUDENT
Lara Brâuchle studies the nature of subjective experience and its relationship to cognition. Her work investigates what distinguishes consciousness from cognitive functions such as memory, exploring how cognitive processes, compression algorithms, and conscious experience intersect. Bridging philosophical insight and experimental neuroscience, Lara’s research is driven by a deep curiosity about the foundations of consciousness and a conviction that understanding it remains one of science’s most compelling challenges.
